Do you have a library or any center of dispensing information to learners? Jomo Kenyatta Foundation is looking to award your in their 2017 award program ( the 8th edition of the Maktaba Awards (Kenyan Library of the Year Awards).
The annual event seeks to recognize such centers in Kenya so as to promote education and the reading culture.
JKF are in partnership with The Goethe-Institut, the Kenya Library Association, the Jomo Kenyatta Foundation, the Ministry of Sports, Culture and the Arts, in cooperation with several partners.
Qualification
- Own a library centre
- Got any center that serves as an information centre for Kenyans
- Must be a Kenyan institution
Importance
This is a good initiative that serves to reward those who work tireless to promote educations and the reading culture in Kenya
