
My client has a new vacancy in their organisation with the below specs
Key Responsibility:
1. Preparation of Project Quality Plans, Quality Control Plans and Project Quality Procedures which guarantee compliance with contractual requirements.
2. Preparation of Standard Operating Procedures/work procedures for different activities.
3. Quality checking of site work, and performing inspection of the Project material / Components & Checking/Inspecting the Site Execution work.
4. Shall need to initiate quality improvement activities and make suggestions at all levels at the site.
5. Initiate and promote all necessary corrective actions for any failure identified within the Project Quality.
6. Inspection of goods prior to supply and once at project site.
7. Checking of contractor’s bills.
8. Dealing with Govt. authorities with regard to site matters.
9. Assess the Quality Control Plans of sub-contractors and identify and report on any necessary corrective measures.
10. Reporting on any major problems, ensuring corrective action plans are draw up and a proactive approach to preventing mistakes from occurring.
11. Support to the Project Manager in preparation of all the required project management procedures and documents.
12. Ensures contract review and project close out are adequately performed.
13. Provide necessary back up to the Proposal/Project Manager regarding contractual issues relating to Quality both during tender and project execution phase.
14. Responsible for ensuring that all personnel comply with standards, relation to Environment, Health and Safety at site, regulation, specification & documented procedure. Training for staff and subcontractor workmen on such standards and regulations.
15. Overall Responsible for meeting customer satisfaction by implementing QMS Monitoring on site activities to avoid non-conformances regarding quality.
16. Resolution of quality related problems at site with concurrence of client, if any.
17. Conducting the Management Review Meetings at site for resolution of problems at site, if any.
The right candidate should
1. Have professional qualification in (electrical) engineering
2. Experience: More than 5 years experience working with SOLAR APPLIANCES
3. Fully conversant with normal office applications and Autocad as optional, but not a must.
4. Have good communication knowledge especially in reporting tools and common spreadsheets applications
5. Leadership skills, team player, good interpersonal skills, analytical and strategic.
6. Ability to work under pressure and without supervision in a demanding challenging and busy environment.
