Network Administrator . Equity Bank Limited
Job Purpose
The network administrator configures, deploys, monitors and maintains basic elements of the enterprise infrastructure bank ensuring the day to day operation and compliant with all applicable regulations. The Network Administrator role is to ensure the stability and integrity WAN/LAN voice, data, and wireless network services. The Network Administrator will participate with the installation, monitoring, maintenance, support, planning, designing, and developing local area networks(LANs) and wide area networks (WANs) across the organization.
Essential Knowledge
Very good knowledge of computers, servers, storage, operating systems, programming and generally good knowledge of the OSI model layers.
Good working knowledge of basic networking in form of Routing and Switching e.g CCNA level.
1 years experience in basic networking technology especially routing and switching technology facets of design, build, configuration and troubleshooting.
Working Knowledge and experience with Open Short Path First (OSPF), Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol (EIGRP), and Border Gateway Protocol (BGP), MPLS.
Understanding of the roles infrastructure support system such as directory systems e.g. Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, NTP, PKI, virtualization.

Industry accepted Certification or equivalnet from Technologies providers such as Cisco, Checkpoint, F5, Palo Alto e.g. CCNA/P/E Security, CEH, CCSA/P/E, f5-CTS Certifed Ethical Hacker,N+,A+
