OFYENEDA is registered in Kenya as a non-governmental organisation. Our core mandate is to aid youth in acquiring education and provide members with skills in environmental management and life skills to enable them improve their living standards and that of communities around them.
While pursuing this core mandate, we intend to engage final year students from your institution as interns. We may also consider those that have recently graduated, who may not be currently engaged in active employment. We intend to have interns who are knowledgeable in any of the following fields:
Journalism and Mass Communication
Community Development and social work
Sociology
Marketing
We believe that giving interns the opportunity to engage in our programs will provide an invaluable learning experience for them. We intend to begin this internship program as soon as possible and would therefore appreciate it if we could receive, from your institution, a list of students or previous students who may be interested in this. We will also require a bit of background information (resume) on each interested student which should be prepared and sent by the students themselves.
Resumes can be sent by email to [email protected] or dropped physically at our office between 10am and 4pm, Monday to Friday.
Upon evaluation of the information that we receive, we will make a decision as to the number of students that we will engage and the subsequent terms of engagement.
