CASHIER – Jubilee Insurance
We currently have an exciting career opportunity for Cashier. The post holders will report to the Head Cashier and will be based in the Tulip House Agency.
Role Purpose
Responsible for cash and other financials (Cheques, petty cash, vouchers) receipts,
banking and reporting in full compliance with the laid down procedures and guidelines as
set out in the Company’s policy
Responsibilities
1. Receiving and receipting of monies paid to the company in both cash and cheques
2. Recording and reporting of the transactions involving said collections
3. Reconciling and preparing reporting on daily collections
4. Maintaining safe custody of funds received at the cash office
5. Making payments for approved cash account
Qualification and Experience.
Academic Qualifications
1. Financial Accounting II or CPA 2 Equivalent
2. Professional Qualification (ACII,AIIK or equivalent)
Functional Skills
1. Proficient use of application and exploration of IT and information management
2. Good communication and people skills, mature, team player
Relevant Experience.
1 year experience in accounting field
