
Accounts Assistant (Debt Management Unit) .Waumini Sacco Society
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Identification of defaulters and demand payments.
2. Notifying both defaulters and guarantors.
3. Identification of Unit (employers) defaulters
4. Recovery of defaulted loans on expiry of notice.
5. Reimbursement of guarantor’s savings once the defaulter pays.
6. Preparing periodical management reports on delinquent loans and accounts
7. Replacement of alternative Guarantors
8. Managing and resolving member’s queries.
9. Listing defaulters with Credit Reference Bureau.
10. Any other duty as may be delegated by the supervisor
Minimum Qualifications and Attributes
• Minimum KCSE C+
• CPA Part II , Certified Credit Professional (CCP Part 2)or ACCA Level II.
• A Diploma in Banking, Co-operative Management from a reputable institution. (Degree in Finance have an added advantage)
• Knowledge of computerized accounting systems.
• Those with knowledge in debt management will have an added advantage.
• Certificate of good conduct
• At least 2 years’ experience in same level in a financial institution.
• Good analytical, communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
• High degree of integrity.

2. Filing and retrieval of files on request.
3. Mailing and postage.
4. Retrieval and archiving of closed files
5. Preparing periodical reports.
6. Preparing files for Loans Approval Committee.
7. Scanning and photocopying of documents.
8. Any other duty as may be delegated by the supervisor
Minimum Qualifications and Attributes
Minimum KCSE C+
Diploma in Archive and Records Management/Information Management.
Degree in Records Management/Information Management will have an added advantage.
At least 2 years’ experience in archive and records management
Knowledge in computerized accounting systems.
Certificate of good conduct
Good analytical, communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
