Fullstack Web Applications Developer
OkHi is looking for the best fullstack developer in Kenya to develop APIs, web applications and support customer integrations.
You will join our world class team and be responsible for launching OkHi to 100s of businesses and millions of consumers across Kenya and other emerging markets. Primary Roles & Responsibilities
Help define, build and integrate APIs to serve OkHi’s business customers
Support these customers with implementation and timely technical support
Develop fullstack applications (web frontend, apis, backend) which are connected via asynchronous data messaging networks.
Participate in all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) including definition, design, implementation, data tracking, testing, delivery and support
Minimum 3 years web development experience building quality web applications
Minimum 3 years experience architecting and building ExpressJS / NodeJS applications
Build reusable, clean code with performance and simplicity in mind
Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
Knowledge of security standards and techniques for web applications
Experience with asynchronous events and requests
Proficiency with any one of AngularJS, Polymer, ReactJS is an asset
Experience with MongoDB is an asset
Energised by working with and supporting developers from other companies
Extremely motivated to receive and provide feedback
Experience in collaborating in small, fast-moving product teams
Excited by tight deadlines and a fast-moving startup environment
Experience with Slack / Asana are a plus
Working in an Agile / Scrum environment is a plus
