POLICY AND ADVOCACY OFFICER

We seek to recruit a Policy and Advocacy Officer to work in our Human Development Theme (HDT). S/he will report to the HDT Lead, while working closely with the Advocacy and Knowledge Translation team at APHRC.

The Policy and Advocacy Officer will also work closely with local community leaders, youth/education/early childhood development (ECD) networks, national parliaments, government officers, sub-national government officers, Civil Society Organizations, funders, UN agencies, and regional economic groups such as EAC, EALA, SADC PF and ECOWAS/WAHO, among others.

APHRC seeks to recruit six Researchers to work within our Human Development Theme. Successful candidates may be appointed at postdoctoral (0-2 years after PhD), Associate Research Scientist (3-5 years after PhD), Research Scientist (6-11 years after PhD) or Senior Research Scientist (12+ years after PhD) levels depending on experience and track record.
