Kenyatta University Teaching, Referral and Research Hospital (KUTRRH) is a State Corporation under the Ministry of Health, registered under Legal Notice Number 4 of the State Corporations Act Cap
The Hospital seeks to engage qualified staff on short-term contracts for the positions listed below.
Applicants must demonstrate diligence, commitment, and a positive attitude.
LAUNDRY ATTENDANTS
Duties and Responsibilities
i. Cleaning Laundry room;
ii. Inspecting and sorting linen before washing;
iii. Washing linen and press linens;
iv. Ironing and arranging linen;
v. Issuing cleaned linen;
vi. Any other duty as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
i. Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) mean grade D+ (plus) or its equivalent qualification.
ii. Certificate in any of the following disciplines: Laundry, Housekeeping, Tailoring, Dress Making,
Textile Technology from a recognized institution.Proficiency in computer applications.
iii. Must fulfill the requirements of Chapter Six (6) of the Constitution of Kenya, 2010.

i. Effective communication skills.
ii. Ability to work under minimal supervision.
iii. Good time management.
iv. Team player.
v. Excellent interpersonal skills
