We are seeking motivated and skilled individuals to join our team as Short Content Rewriter and Editor Interns. The ideal candidates will have a strong passion for writing and editing and be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for rewriting and editing short-form content ensuring that it is of high quality and adheres to the brands tone and voice
Responsibilities
- Rewrite and edit short-form content such as social media posts website copy and marketing materials
- Ensure that the content is grammatically correct free from spelling errors and adheres to the brands tone and voice
- Factcheck content and ensure that it is accurate and up to date
- Collaborate with the content team to ensure consistency and quality across all brand materials
- Meet deadlines and work efficiently to complete tasks in a timely manner
- Assist with other writing and editing tasks as required
Requirements
- Must be a college student or recent graduate English Communications Journalism or related fields desired but not mandatory
- Strong writing and editing skills with attention to detail and ability to catch errors
- Knowledge of grammar spelling and style conventions
- Ability to multitask prioritize and manage time effectively
- Familiarity with SEO practices and social media platforms is an added advantage
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience with content management systems such as WordPress is a plus
Working Conditions
- This is a 3-month remote internship position, and interns will work from their own location.
- The internship is unpaid, but interns showing exemplary talent may receive a non-monetary reward.
- There is a possibility of joining our remote content writers and rewriters team after the internship, subject to a performance review.
