961 Vacant Positions Open At The Judiciary Kenya

The Judiciary’s Vision of Social Transformation through Access to Justice (STAJ) places a strong emphasis on People-Centred Justice (PCJ). It underscores the importance of considering the perspectives, needs, strengths, and expectations of justice users to enhance the quality of justice and reduce barriers to service delivery.

The overarching goal is to establish an institution that is both independent and accessible, while
also prioritizing efficiency and safeguarding the rights of all citizens, particularly the vulnerable.
A pivotal component of this transformative agenda involves harnessing technology to boost productivity through process automation and the digitization of Judiciary services, thereby promoting a shift towards a paperless system.

The Judiciary has developed and deployed the Case Tracking System (CTS) to automate both court and
registry operations with the aim of achieving expeditious delivery of justice. The Case Tracking System has been deployed in all the court stations.

The digitization of active case files requires that historical court records and handwritten proceedings be in digital format for use by the Judges and Judicial Officers.

Digitization of court records involves the conversion of court files from Manual to Digital Format. The project scope encompasses scanning all active case files, capturing case particulars and uploading the scanned digital files onto the Case Tracking System (CTS).

The Judiciary has implemented Ajira Phase I under the GoK funding. The project aims at bridging the gap between skills demand and jobs. The program aims to introduce young people to digital and digitally-enabled work and provide the tools, training and mentorship needed for young people to work and earn an income with dignity.

The Judiciary is seeking to hire experienced agents in 79 court stations in 30 counties for a range period of between 5 days – 54 days based on the caseload statistics.
