Job Opportunity: Kids Clothing Store Salesperson

We are a well-established kids’ retail boutique known for high- quality children’s fashion and exceptional customer service.

We seek a dedicated Kids Retail Shop Salesperson who is passionate about kids’ fashion, possesses excellent communication skills, and enjoys helping customers find perfect outfits for their children.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service
  1. Greet shoppers warmly and assist with a smile.
  2. Understand kids’ style preferences for tailored recommendations.
  3. Help find the right sizes and styles for our little fashionistas.
Product Knowledge:
  1. Maintain expertise in kids’ clothing collections, materials, fits, and care instructions.
  2. Stay updated on kids’ fashion trends and new arrivals.
Sales and Upselling:
  1. Promote kids’ products and special offers to engage customers.
  2. Suggest complementary items and upsell effectively.
  3. Handle customer concerns professionally to secure sales
  4. Answer customer inquiries accurately.

Shop Management
  1. Manage Stock using our POS
  2. Handle cash, card payments, and returns per our policies.
  3. Keep our store tidy and well organized.
  4. Keep an eye on stock and report issues.

Digital Selling
  1. Respond to customer questions and concerns on all our social media platforms.
  2. Close sales through our existing social channels [Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp, phone calls)
  3. Support with Content Ideas for our online pages

Qualifications:

  • Retail sales experience (especially kids’ clothing]) is a bonus.
  • A minimum qualification of at least a diploma in sales and marketing or related field is a must.
  • Superb communication and kindness and love for kids’ fashion and style flair.
  • Excellent Customer Service


Terms:

  1. Starting Salary: KES 20,000 with a 3-6 month probation period.
