Office Assistant

As an Office Assistant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency of our office operations. Your responsibilities will include handling administrative tasks, managing office supplies, and providing support to various departments.


Drivers at Kenya Maritime Authority are responsible for the safe and timely transportation of staff and official documents. Your role will contribute to the smooth functioning of the organization by ensuring reliable transportation services.

Office Administrator

Office Administrators will be at the heart of our organizational structure, coordinating and managing administrative functions. You will be responsible for overseeing office procedures, organizing files, and providing support to executives.

Legal Officer – Board Secretariat

The Legal Officer in the Board Secretariat will be responsible for providing legal advice, conducting legal research, and ensuring compliance with relevant maritime laws and regulations.

Merchant Shipping Fees Officer

The Merchant Shipping Fees Officer will be tasked with managing and overseeing the collection of shipping fees, ensuring accuracy, and implementing efficient payment processes.

Licensing & Seaborne Trade Officer

Licensing & Seaborne Trade Officers will be responsible for processing licensing applications, ensuring compliance with regulations, and facilitating smooth seaborne trade operations.

Ports & Shipping Services Officer

Ports & Shipping Services Officers will oversee and coordinate various aspects of port operations, ensuring the efficient flow of goods and services.

Principal Licensing and Seaborne Trade Officer

As the Principal Licensing and Seaborne Trade Officer, you will provide leadership in the licensing department, oversee strategic initiatives, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Assistant Director, Safety of Navigation and Maritime Investigation

The Assistant Director for Safety of Navigation and Maritime Investigation will be responsible for ensuring the safety of maritime navigation and conducting investigations into maritime incidents.

Assistant Director, Marine Environment Protection

The Assistant Director for Marine Environment Protection will lead initiatives to protect and preserve the marine environment, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.

Assistant Director, Radio-communications and Maritime Search and Rescue Services

In this role, you will oversee radio-communications and maritime search and rescue services, ensuring effective communication and coordination during emergencies.
