CCBA has an extensive footprint in Africa, employing approximately 14,000 employees in Africa, and approximately 7,000 employees in South AfricaKey Purpose StatementTo manage, lead and support the team so that manufacturing, quality and maintenance targets are achieved in the most cost effective and efficient manner.
Key Duties & ResponsibilitiesDevelop plant business and implementation plans to ensure that customer service and productivity objectives of the Region and CCBA are metEnsure productivity and budgeting objectives are metWork closely with Logistics to ensure systematic and strategic coordination of all Supply Chain business functions in order to ensure the continuous improvement of long term performance, of both the supply chain and the value chain as a wholeManage the Manufacturing aspects of operational execution including flow of materials, production and all supporting operations.Management and maintenance of the Manufacturing assets at a productive basic conditionLead the implementation and management of the Supply Chain WayProvide leadership and guidance to Country Management teamsManage the execution of the CAPEX process within the plantManage the primary engagement with local Labour Unions and all aspects relating to Industrial relations in the regionEnsure an engaged, productive and capable workforce aligned to deliver the strategic and operational business objectives of CCBALead and Manage the development of a Health and Safety culture for all employees within the plantEnsure talent pipeline is maintainedLead the Risk Management and Business Governance processes within the plant 
Skills, Experience & EducationExperience
Approximately 10 years of relevant corporate experience At least 3 years at a senior or executive level Strong track record of delivering results in a Manufacturing role Strong understanding of Supply Chain Way Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modelling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources Proven track record in managing employee engagement
Education Minimum of Bachelor’s degree Masters in Business Administration would be an added advantage
