Chief Executive Officer

Background:

The job holder is responsible for the day to day running of the Fund under the direction and guidance of the Advisory Board.

Description:

(a) Duties and Responsibilities
Specific duties and responsibilities will entail:
i. Lead in the formulation of the organizations long terms strategy as well as oversee the implementation of the same within set timelines.

Manager, Finance And Administration

Background:

Basic Pay Minimum Ksh; 155,122 – Maximum Ksh; 205,477 PM
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the position holder is responsible for all aspects of Finance and Administration matters of the Fund.

Description:

(a) Duties and Responsibilities
Duties will entail the following:
i. Formulation, implementation and interpretation of financial, administrative and accounting policies and procedures, strategies and programs.

Manager, Marketing Research And Communication

Background:

Basic Pay Minimum Ksh; 155,122 – Maximum Ksh; 205,477 PM
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the position holder is responsible for spearheading the Funds marketing and communication strategies, stakeholder engagement, resource mobilization, market research and product development and capacity building of women entrepreneurs.

Description:

(a) Duties and Responsibilities
Duties will entail the following:
i. Formulate, interpret and implement marketing, research and communication policies.
ii. Facilitate the design and rollout of competitive market driven products and services.
iii. Identify and pursue market opportunities locally and abroad to improve market access for women products and services.

Manager, Audit & Risk

Background:

Basic Pay Minimum Ksh; 155,122 – Maximum Ksh; 205,477 PM
An officer at this level will report administratively to the Chief Executive Officer and functionally to the Board through the Audit and Risk Management committee to ensure there is an innovative, responsive and effective risk management approach within the Fund.

Description:

(a) Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Formulating policies for effective risk management strategies and framework for the Fund.
  2. Coordinating and overseeing all risk management activities and assessing compliance with internal policies, relevant contracts and all legal and regulatory requirements.
  3. Coordinate preparation, approval by the Board and implementation of annual audit plans and appropriate audit programs.
  4. Ensure sound development and implementation of audit management systems.
  5. Ensure proper preparation of audit reports, presentation of the same to the Audit & Risk Committee on quarterly basis and implementation of audit recommendations.
  6. Responsible for coordination of Audit & Risk departments activities, including staff training and development.
  7. Liaising with external auditors and ensure implementation of their recommendations.
  8. Updating the Board Internal Audit & Risk Committee Charter as well as the internal Audit Charter.
  9. Review the Funds compliance with the relevant statutes, policies, rules, regulations, administrative government circulars and guidelines.
  10. Review the adequacy of internal policies, procedures and processes to ensure necessary and sufficient internal controls are in place.
  11. Carry out special assignments including investigations and recommend controls to mitigate risks.
  12. Any other lawful duty that may be assigned from time to time.

Deputy Manager, Human Resource Management And Training

Background:

Basic Pay Minimum Ksh; 127,584.00 – Maximum Ksh; 168,253.00 P.M
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the position holder is responsible for developing, reviewing and implementing Human resources strategies, policies, programs and procedures to support the Funds Strategic goals and objectives to enhance individual and organizational performance.

Description:

(a) Duties and Responsibilities

Dutieswill entail the following:

i. Initiation,development, interpretation, implementation and review of Human Resource andTraining policies.

ii. Overseeingstaff inductions and complement HR efforts at succession plan;

iii. Carryingout evaluation and monitoring of training.

iv. Updatingskills inventory for all Funds employees.

v. Custodianof approved human resource documents including the Organization Structure,Career Progression Guidelines, Staff Allowances, Staff Establishment &Human Resources Policy Manual.

vi. Develops, reviews and monitors the Human Resources and Training Budget.

Assistant Manager, Audit & RiskWEF Grade 4

Background:

Basic Pay Minimum Ksh; 96,993 – Maximum Ksh; 141,337 PM
An officer at this level will be responsible to the Manager, Audit & Risk through the Audit and Risk Management Committee to ensure there is an innovative responsive and effective risk management approach within the Fund:

Description:

(a) Duties andResponsibilities:-

i. Supervising,coaching staff and providing professional development and guidance.

ii. Responsiblefor auditing assigned work of wide scope and complexity and specific auditassignments.

iii. Followup on the resolution of external audit queries and implementation of externalaudit recommendations.

iv. Oversee risk management activities and assess effectiveness of and compliance with internal controls, internal policies, tax regulations and other statutory guidelines.

Senior Officer, Audit & Risk

Background:

Basic Pay Minimum Ksh; 85,021 – Maximum Ksh; 112,704 P.M
Reporting to the Assistant Manager, Audit & Risk, an officer at this level will be responsible for auditing work of limited scope and complexity and supporting the department in identification of risks, assessment, monitoring and reporting in line with the Funds risk management framework including;

Description:

(a) Duties and Responsibilities.

  1. Ensure that accounting procedures of the Fund are adhered to.
  2. Check risk management activities and assess compliance with internal policies, tax regulations and other statutory guidelines.
  3. Assist in developing audit management systems and internal audit programs.
  4. Assist in the interpretation of financial policies for sound auditing practices and control.
  5. Participate in developing and updating an internal audit manual to facilitate compliance with auditing standards and guidelines.
  6. Assist in preparation and implementation of annual audit plans.
  7. Undertake specific audit assignments and prepare detailed audit observations and draft reports.
  8. Conduct financial and systems audit & assist in ensuring compliance with tax regulations and other statutory requirements.
