Makueni County Public Service, established in 2013, plays a pivotal role in managing public sector human resources within Makueni County, Kenya. Officially inaugurated on 5th August 2013, the Service is a key organ in the implementation of the county’s development agenda, focusing on enhancing service delivery through effective and efficient human resource management.
The Service is composed of a Chairman, five Board Members, and a Secretary/CEO, all of whom are appointed by the Governor and approved by the County Assembly.
The team is tasked with overseeing the recruitment, training, and deployment of public service staff, ensuring that the county government is staffed with qualified and competent individuals who can drive the county’s vision of growth and development.
