Tharaka Nithi County Public Service Board (CPSB) is a body corporate established under Section 57 of the County Governments Act, 2012 pursuant to Article 235 of the Constitution of Kenya 2010. Section 59 of the County Governments Act 2012 outlines the functions of the CPSB among them being “appoint persons to hold or act in offices of the county public service including in the Boards of cities and urban areas within the county and to confirm appointments”.
Requirements for appointment
- Be a Kenyan citizen;
- Be a holder of a Degree of Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (M.B., & ChB.) from an institution recognized in Kenya;
- Must have completed a Master’s Degree in Imaging and Radiology from an institution recognized in Kenya;
- Registered as a Medical/Specialist Practitioner by Medical Practitioners and Dentist Council;
- Have a Valid Practicing License;
- Be of acceptable moral and professional standing;
- Willing to undertake duties in person in any part of Tharaka Nithi County as they will be assigned from time to time;
- Certificate in computer application skills from an institution recognized in Kenya.
