Key Responsibilities

  • Effective supervision of accommodation staff
  • Ensure effective and efficient management of accommodation facilities for students
  • Providing high quality accommodation to students and other guests of the University
  • Responsible for the overall smooth operations of the hostels in the University
  • Implement policy decision for the department in consultation with University Management
  • Custodian of the student hostel records and ensures seamless hostel booking
  • Performs and identifies training needs for hostel staff
  • Monitor and evaluates performance of staff and the department as a whole
  • Responsible for planning and control of the departmental budget
  • Ensure adherence to ISO requirements
  • Perform any other duty that may be assigned by the University Management from time to time

Qualifications and skills

  • Master’s Degree in Hospitality Management
  • Computer Literate
  • Five (5) years’ experience in Managerial Position
