About the Program The Industry Graduate Program is designed to provide recent engineering graduates with hands-on, practical experience in facility operations while building the skills and knowledge required for managerial roles. Over the course of the program, you will gain a comprehensive understanding of various industrial processes, safety standards, maintenance systems, and engineering projects. Upon successful completion, participants will be prepared for leadership positions within our operations .
Key Responsibilities
As an Industry Graduate, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Facility Operations:
- Participate in day-to-day operations in various roles within the assigned facility. Learn and apply safe operating practices to align with LDC’s Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) goals.
- Gain expertise in facility maintenance planning, preventive maintenance, and inventory management. Participate in engineering and construction projects, including project analysis, budget preparation, and execution. Ensure projects comply with safety, food safety, and environmental requirements.
- Lead or contribute to initiatives aimed at enhancing productivity, cost efficiency, and capacity. Implement measures for quality and process improvement in the facility.
- Develop people management skills, including staff planning, time management, and performance management. Take on supervisory roles to manage teams and foster collaboration.
- Be assigned at least one major project to improve facility efficiency and reduce costs.
- Technical Expertise:
- Proficiency in engineering principles, technical drawings, and engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks).Problem-solving and analytical skills to address complex challenges.
