Reporting To: Grants and Compliance Manager (GCM)

Duties and Responsibilities
The Grants Officer will play a crucial role in ensuring effective administrative management and compliance for sub-award agreements. Key responsibilities include:
- Administrative Oversight:
- Provide comprehensive administrative management of sub-award agreements.
- Ensure compliance with donor rules and regulations throughout the grant lifecycle, from initiation to closeout.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with reporting requirements.
- Preparation and Monitoring:
- Draft and finalize outgoing agreements.
- Track disbursements to sub-awardees, ensure reconciliations, and maintain grant files and trackers.
- Collaboration and Support:
- Work closely with project teams to monitor compliance, manage risks, and address contractual issues.
- Provide guidance on donor regulations, particularly USAID rules and requirements.
- Compliance Advisory:
- Collaborate with the Grants and Compliance Manager to advise staff on managing grant-related risks, contractual obligations, and reporting requirements.
