1. Adjunct / Part-time Faculty of Spanish
Job Summary: USIU-Africa is seeking qualified individuals to join the School of Humanities and Social Sciences as Adjunct/Part-time Faculty in Spanish. This position is ideal for passionate educators who are enthusiastic about teaching and supporting students in developing foreign language proficiency.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Deliver well-structured Spanish language lessons to undergraduate students.
- Prepare course syllabi and instructional materials in line with university standards.
- Design and administer student assessments and provide timely feedback.
- Engage in continuous curriculum review and enhancement.
- Provide academic support and guidance to students outside the classroom.
- Collaborate with faculty and administration to ensure high-quality instruction.

2. Creative Marketer – CO-CARE Program
Background: This position is part of the County Creative Arts Residence & Empowerment (CO-CARE) program—a collaborative initiative between USIU-Africa, the Challenge Fund for Youth Employment (CFYE), and Across Solutions. The program aims to combine technical knowledge with entrepreneurship to equip youth with skills for employment and self-employment in the creative arts sector.
Job Summary: The Creative Marketer will play a crucial role in implementing innovative marketing strategies that highlight the impact of the CO-CARE program. This includes managing brand communications and enhancing the visibility of creative talents under the program.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute creative marketing campaigns to promote program activities and participants.
- Collaborate with creative artists and mentors to craft storytelling content.
- Manage digital and traditional media platforms to increase program reach.
- Monitor marketing performance metrics and report on campaign outcomes.
- Identify and nurture partnerships with relevant stakeholders in the creative economy.
- Ensure consistent messaging aligned with the CO-CARE brand guidelines.

3. Creative Mentor – CO-CARE Program
Background: Also under the CO-CARE initiative, the Creative Mentor will be instrumental in supporting and mentoring youth in the creative arts. This role focuses on guiding participants through practical and entrepreneurial learning, empowering them to thrive in the creative industry.
Job Summary: The Creative Mentor will work directly with young creatives, providing one-on-one mentorship and group training sessions. The ideal candidate should have deep experience in the creative sector and a genuine desire to develop young talent.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide structured mentorship to youth across various creative disciplines.
- Facilitate learning sessions and workshops focusing on creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurship.
- Support mentees in creating, developing, and executing creative projects.
- Assist in linking mentees with opportunities for internships, employment, or funding.
- Track mentees’ progress and offer continuous guidance throughout the program lifecycle.
