1. Fund Administrator

Location: Nairobi
Job Type: Full Time

Job Description:
The Fund Administrator will be responsible for the day-to-day reconciliation of clients’ accounts with bank statements and suspense accounts. The role ensures seamless and prompt purchase updates for continuous and improved customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Follow up on swift resolution of bank channel integration challenges.
  • Prepare suspense reports and monitor suspense activity.
  • Respond to queries/complaints on purchases.
  • Confirm disbursement of e-receipts to customers.
  • Call clients to verify purchase details.
  • Ensure dispatch of monthly member statements.
  • Follow up and resolve arising member statement issues.
  • Contact new clients to confirm receipt of funds and provide product information.
  • Reconcile and review all cheque details, identifying bounced cheques and informing clients.

2. Assistant Accountant – Payroll

Location: Nairobi
Job Type: Full Time

Job Description:
The Assistant Accountant – Payroll will be responsible for processing payment requisitions, reconciliations, monthly reporting, and posting journals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process payment requisitions for CIC Group and subsidiaries upon receipt and confirmation of compliance with company guidelines.
  • Ensure payment transactions are accurately captured and relevant deductions correctly applied.
  • Reconcile all sundry creditor ledgers and vendor statements across CIC Group and subsidiaries.
  • Prepare monthly group expense reports for review and allocate expenses as per the company’s sharing matrix.
  • Post journals correctly and timely, and prepare expense ledger reconciliation reports.
  • Respond to queries from internal and external customers within a day of receipt.

3. Assistant Underwriter – Risk Pricing

Location: Nairobi
Job Type: Full Time

Job Description:
The Assistant Underwriter – Risk Pricing will assess and prudently underwrite medical business in commercially sound terms, ensuring effective and efficient underwriting and documentation processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accept or reject risks in line with set underwriting guidelines.
  • Prepare renewal notices.
  • Ensure accurate debiting and crediting for new business and renewals.
  • Review new business quotations from medical sales.
  • Prepare and process policy documents and renewal endorsements.
  • Prepare contracts for review by the Underwriting Manager.
  • Underwrite all retail proposal forms.
  • Prepare quarterly scheme performance reports for timely interventions.
  • Review and approve debits/credits before dispatch to clients.
  • Review reconciliation of underwriting issues processed by Underwriting Assistants.
  • Cancel policies due to non-payment of premiums.
  • Respond to customer and intermediary enquiries.

4. Public Relations Officer – Editorial

Location: Nairobi
Job Type: Full Time

Job Description:
The Public Relations Officer – Editorial will be responsible for managing the company’s editorial content, ensuring consistent and effective communication with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement editorial strategies aligned with the company’s communication goals.
  • Create and edit content for various platforms, including press releases, newsletters, and social media.
  • Collaborate with departments to gather information and produce accurate and engaging content.
  • Maintain the company’s brand voice and ensure consistency across all communications.
  • Monitor media coverage and prepare reports on public perception.

5. Regional Team Leaders – Alternative Channels – Retail Life

Job Description:
The Regional Team Leaders will drive sales of retail life insurance products through alternative distribution channels, develop and maintain client relationships, and implement strategies to expand the customer base.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities for retail life insurance products.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners.
  • Drive sales performance to achieve set targets.
  • Educate customers on available insurance solutions tailored to their needs.
