The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) is pleased to announce the recruitment of 2,014 teachers to replace those who have exited the service through natural attrition. The vacancies are distributed as follows:
- 1,309 positions for Primary Schools
- 32 positions for Junior Schools
- 673 positions for Secondary Schools
Successful candidates will be employed on Permanent and Pensionable terms of service.
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for recruitment, an applicant must meet the following minimum requirements:
- Be a Kenyan citizen.
- Must possess:
- A P1 certificate for Primary school positions; or
- At least a Diploma in Education for Junior and Secondary school positions, with a minimum KCSE grade of C+ (plus) and C+ (plus) in two teaching subjects or an equivalent qualification.
- Be a registered teacher with the Teachers Service Commission.

Important Notes
- The TSC Recruitment Guidelines for the 2024/2025 Financial Year (Circular No. 19/2024 and 20/2024) will apply during this recruitment process.
- Shortlisted candidates will be required to present original academic and professional certificates during interviews.
- Only one Application for Employment Form should be submitted. Multiple applications will lead to disqualification.
- Manual applications will not be accepted.
- Preference will be given to applicants who have not previously been employed by the Teachers Service Commission.
