Personal Assistant to the CEO

We are looking for an honest, extremely proactive, street smart person who doesn’t shy away from decision-making. They should be coachable with a leaning towards acceptance of all world views and opinions. A quick learner with a spirit for adventure and appreciation for nature and yet still have mad skills on MS Excel and a flare for original content creation (either graphic design or blogging). The ability to think from the heart and not the head will be an advantage.

The role involves personal admin for the CEO, ensuring that he is able to perform at the top of his game (can you make a killer smoothie for this?) so he can focus on providing his ‘super skills’ to the various brands and teams he leads. You’ll be the one who gets ideas bounced off them (you better love whiteboards and colour) and support critical decision making processes with absolute confidentiality (empathy, logical thinking). No words will be minced by either you or him.

You’ll also soon find yourself at the heart of the operations of the business and deep into its marketing strategy; heck you’ll even be expected to realise that marketing strategy! The marketing strategy is heavily digital and involves sales automation (with major human involvement). So expect to draw flow charts, design work flows, invoke sales psychology and do this with witty banter (and chocolate).

We expect that you have experience in an admin or executive support role working in a fast paced environment that requires/d you to multitask. We also want to see your (long running) blog or portfolio of graphic design. If you have a science background and prefer vocational management that would be awesome but it’s not necessary. And something authentic about your marketing experience.

The role is highly stressful, challenging, fun (but not always). Our average age across a team of 60 is 30 years old with an almost 50-50 gender balance. Only the passionate survive under this CEO.
