You will be an essential part of the East Africa Research Hub working on providing evidence support to DFID country offices. Your main responsibilities in the first 6 months will be to manage and develop an ongoing portfolio of research and support. This will mean leading a portfolio of ongoing research covering regional priorities and country-specific studies, considering emerging research needs in the region, assuring the quality of ongoing studies and managing uptake of others.
You will lead EARH’s engagement with DFID country offices in Somalia, Sudan and South Sudan. This position is based in Nairobi, Kenya and involves frequent travel in the region and to UK.
