Job Summary
This is the entry position to the Drivers’ position in HOYMAS and appointment to this position is on temporary or permanent terms, or on a two (1) year renewable performance-based contract depending on age, citizenship and any other reason.
Requirements:
• A minimum of KCSE Grade D+ or its equivalent
• A valid PSV and a driving license free from any endorsement and valid for classes B C D E vehicles
• Passed in Trade Test III
• A recent certificate of good conduct from the Kenya Police Department
• Active involvement in International/Continental/Regional /National/ Local/Community activities

Responsibilities
• Drive vehicles safely, legally and efficiently as required.
• Detect and report malfunctioning of vehicles systems
• Comply with all driving hours and Road Transport legislation
• Operate vehicles safely and responsibly, as assigned
• General maintenance and cleaning of vehicles
• Carrying out routine checkups on vehicles assigned (cooling and oils systems, electrical system, , brakes etc)
• Maintaining work tickets for vehicles assigned
• Ensuring that the servicing and repairs are done on time
• Ensure security and safety for the vehicles on and off the road
• Ensure safety of the passengers and or goods therein
• To comply with all Health & Safety requirements
• Perform any other duties that may be assigned by the immediate supervisor
Job Requirements
Required education: High, secondary school
Required relevant work experience: 3 years
