*Casting Call for a TVC*
An international client is looking to cast the following for a Geisha TV commercial. Details is as follows
Title: Geisha Soap Commercial.
Audition dates: Saturday 7th September and Sunday 8th September 2019.
Audition Time: 9am to 3pm.
Audition Location: Kenya National Theatre (classroom) situated opposite Norfolk Hotel.

Shoot date: 9th October to 17th October 2019
Shoot location: South Africa.
*NB:* If selected, you will be required to Travel to South Africa. So kindly do not come for the audition if you do not have a valid passport. If you have one, please carry it with you at the audition.
*Characters Wanted*
1. Mother: Strictly 32 to 40 years old.
Classy. Beautiful. Elegant. She has great Skin. Great teeth with a great smile. You do not to have any acting experience but must be believable and natural with an authentic Kenyan accent. No Americanization or fake accents/twanging. You are soft spoken.
You have a real emotional connection with your daughter and you speak to her like a sister or a friend.
Added advantage if you have natural hair. This should not hinder you in case you have a weave/wig so long as it is neat and well made. We might ask you to remove your wig so that we can take a picture with your natural hair.
*Dress code:* Warm bright colors. A blouse top or a dress. Nothing too formal.
*Audition Script*
Walk into the bathroom and see your daughter wants to use western products:
With soft concern you say: “Sylvia, you don’t have to use this fancy, foreign stuff for clearer
and glowing skin….The Moringa that grows here is good and strong… and Geisha knows how it soothes our skin all along…And remember, what makes you African, makes you strong”
*Payment:* If selected, the mother role will pay you approximately ksh 300,000 for one year buy out.
2. Daughter: 12 to 16 years old Teenage girl.
This is a modern relationship between mother and daughter where they are more like friends or sisters. So looking for a beautiful and natural young teenage girl. Bubbly interesting, charming fun girl. Must also have good skin and great teeth with a great smile. Great well done hands as well.

*Dress code:* Short sleeves t-shirts or tank tops (covering your torsos of course). Nothing too formal as well.
*Audition Script*
Look in the mirror and touch your skin. You’re worried because it doesn’t look great. You open the cabinet and see a bar of soap that mum left you. You pick it and look at it. You’ve never seen or heard of this before, so you are curious and even bit confused. Puzzled you say “New…. Geisha… African Strength… Moringa oil”
Take some soap and look in the mirror as you rub it onto your cheek. It feels soothing and we want to see that. You end with a small satisfied smile as you look at your glowing and beautiful skin in the mirror.
*Payment:* If selected, the daughter role will pay you approximately ksh 250,000 for one year buy out.
