The Brief, a fast rising digital news platform, intends to recruit a versatile digital news writer with a knack for current news. This position is a remote based opportunity to join a growing authentic media brand.
Requirements
- Ability to identify topic centric issues of the day
- Ability to write on diverse topics and deliver interesting angles
- An appetite for data driven news creation.
- Determination to work on fresh news and deliver them as they occur
- The third journalistic eye to identify possible viral news within the country
- Ability to create many source streams of news
- Knowledge on the integration of social media plugins and consequent management of these platforms
- Ability to creatively push written news and access visibility in social media platforms
- Evidence of active social presence in at least one of the following social media spaces: Facebook, Twitter, Telegram.
- Versatility in work arrangement. As a remote based position, the candidate should possess the ability to work around the clock in sharing news as they occur.
