The Sino-African Friendship Program is a full scholarship program sponsored by the Ministry of Education of China for designated Chinese universities to recruit outstanding African students.
As part of the program, a selected number of outstanding applicants will be selected to enrol in the Master’s Program in Information and Communication Engineering at the Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications (CQUPT). The 3-year program is

Eligibilities
- African Citizens in good health;
- Bachelor’s Degree holders in Communication or Electronic Engineering, in Math/Physics or related fields no more than 35 years old;
- IELTS≧6.0 or TOEFL≧75 or equivalent. Applicants who could not provide the above mentioned English test results will be required to attend the English test organized by CQUPT. Native English-speaking applicants could be exempted from providing the above English proficiency certificate;
- Do not obtain other scholarships.

APPLICATION PROCESS
- Step1: Complete the online application procedure at CSC Online Application System for International Students. The code of Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunication is 10617. Please Choose Program category—type B, and submit online the completed Application Form for Chinese Government Scholarship and print a hard copy.
- Step2: Complete the online application procedure at CQUPT International Student Service System: https://cqupt.17gz.org. Please choose your program: self –Sponsored programs, and submit online the completed Application Form for Foreign Students to CQUPT and print a hard copy.
- Step3: Email the following required documents to [email protected], CC [email protected] before June 10th, 2020 at 23:59 (GMT+8) and name the email title as “Your CSC application serial No. + Passport Name+ Nationality + CQUPT online application No.”
