ICT HELPDESK TECHNICIAN

Position Summary

Responsible for offering 1st line support and technical assistance to users of software applications, hardware, network and other ICT related challenges. Document and troubleshoot presented ICT problems through analytic tests then assign unresolved issues to the relevant ICT staff for further follow up and resolution.

Main Duties

  •  Responding to user queries through chat, email, or phone
  •  Assist in training users and new staff on troubleshooting and diagnosing ICT problems
  •  Assist in writing, editing, and revising training manuals for new and updated software and hardware
  •  Providing technical assistance for questions and problems
  •  Resolving problems with software applications, hardware, networks and other ICT systems
  •  Making follow ups with users to ensure full resolution of issues
  •  Requesting and documenting user feedback and/or monitoring calls and other methods of correspondence to improve ICT support services and training methods
  •  Running reports to analyse common complaints and problems
  •  Installing or changing software to fix issues
  •  Remotely accessing hardware or software for users to make changes and fix problems

Required Qualifications for the Position

  •  Relevant Diploma in Computer Science
  •  Over 2 years working experience in ICT technical support in a busy environment preferably in the hospitality industry
  •  Certification in ICT equipment repair and maintenance, network or software applications support/maintenance would be an added advantage

LABORATORY MANAGER

Position Summary

Ensure delivery of quality and efficient laboratory services as per the organizations’ policies.

Main Duties

  •  Develop and translate Laboratory policies and procedures into daily operations
  •  Align departmental objectives to the Hospital Strategic Plan and engage staff towards achieving the objectives
  •  Develop the sections budget in liaison with the Director of Medical Services for approval by management
  •  Initiate procurement of Laboratory equipment and supplies, develop, monitor and maintain an inventory of the same
  •  Ensure operations conform to Quality Management requirements and engage activities for continuous quality improvement
  •  Monitor departments operations and performance and prepare reports for management
  •  Liaise with marketing department to market laboratory services
  •  Participate in education and training of paramedical and other staff through Continuous Medical Education programs
  •  Implements new programs, tests, methods, instrumentation, and procedures by investigating alternatives; preparing proposals; developing and performing parallel testing; monitoring progress
  •  People Management – In charge of medical laboratory staff including, recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees
  •  Provides administrative support for the hospital by acting as manager on call
  •  Any other relevant duty as may be assigned

EDUCATION

  • Degree in Medical Laboratory Science plus a
  • Masters Degree Preferably in Molecular Biology

LICENCE

  • Must be registered with KMLTTB and have a valid practicing license

EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 7 years working experience in a Managerial role

PHYSIOTHERAPY MANAGER

Position Summary

Ensure delivery of quality and efficient Physiotherapy services as per the organizations’ policies.

Main Duties

  •  Develop structures, systems, policies and procedures to assure effective functioning of the department
  •  Liaise with the Director of Medical services to develop realistic budgetary estimates for consideration in the budget approval process
  •  Ensure adherence to the approved budget through prudent spending and effective cost control measures.
  •  Ensure the Department has a strong team of highly competent and motivated staff performing to set performance standards.
  •  Ensure highest possible standards of quality and operational efficiency in Departmental processes to realize high internal and external customer satisfaction
  •  To be accountable for performance of the department including attainment of Strategic objectives under the strategic plan, annual work plans and other agreed targets
  •  Develop and implement systems and structures to assure adequate and reliable supply of consumables for the Department
  •  Make statistical reports on a daily, weekly and monthly basis and submit the same to the medical records section
  •  To communicate the hospital’s strategic plan, objectives, policies and procedures to physiotherapy staff to ensure compliance and achievability

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Physiotherapy

LICENCE

  • Must be registered with Physiotherapy Council of Kenya and have a valid practicing license

EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 5 years working experience in a Managerial role

RADIOLOGIST

Role Purpose

To use medical imaging technologies to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients’ health problems

Main Duties

  •  Plain film reporting, Fluoroscopy, Ultrasonography, interventional radiology and CT scan, MRI
  •  Perform diagnostic, interventional image-guided procedures or therapeutic radiologic services
  •  Examine and interpret medical images such as X-rays, CT scans, ultrasounds and MRIs and use them to make a diagnosis
  •  Work alongside radiologic assistants and other health professionals in administering treatment
  •  Ensure proper handling of emergency cases when on duty
  •  Ensures that high standards of diagnostic accuracy and patient care are maintained
  •  In liaison with the HOD and other radiologists , ensures that legal obligations for radiation protection are observed
  •  Participates in clinical audit and review programs for the department
  •  Ensures consistency with the procedure protocols, patient conditions, physical abilities and age requirements
  •  Screens all patients using best practice in radiation protection to protect patients, fellow staff members and self
  •  Attendance and on request, facilitation of multi-disciplinary meeting.
  •  Telephone and other Ad hoc consultations

EDUCATION

  • Master of Medicine (Mmed) in Radiology

LICENCE

  • Must be registered with Kenya Medical and Dentists Council and have a valid practicing license

EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 3 years post graduate working experience
