Job DescriptionCompany OverviewCoca-Cola Beverages Africa is the largest African Coca-Cola bottler, accounting for 40% of all Coca-Cola volumes on the continent.  CCBA is a market leader in the NARTD non-alcoholic ready to drink market in Africa. CCBA has an extensive footprint in Africa, employing approximately 14 000 employees in Africa, and approximately 7 000 employees in South Africa. Key Purpose StatementThis is a senior management position that takes responsibility for the management, maintenance and execution of all pay, rewards and benefits related processes and solutions for CCBA Kenya. Their key objective is to  ensure the daily delivery and availability of Total Reward services to managers and employees in the country. They will oversee and manage the deployment of Total Rewards solutions and initiatives in line with the Group Office strategy. The person in this position will have excellent business acumen and knowledge of organisational reward philosophies and strategies.  They will also have a very good understanding of Kenya’s legislation and best practice around remuneration practices, as they will act as an advisor and consultant to CCBA Kenya’s Country Leadership Team.
Key Duties & ResponsibilitiesAdvising Country Leadership on Total Rewards StrategiesDeveloping and maintaining expertise and knowledge on general and CCBA K Total Reward practices and solutions.Evaluating Reward policies, processes and practices in-country and identifying gaps, inadequacies and other requirements that need to be addressedReviewing existing in country Reward strategies, demographic profiles, and market activity against the country reward context to determine short and long term reward requirements and risksParticipate in Job Evaluation and Grading ExercisesParticipate in Salary Survey’s and compensation benchmarking initiatives and activities.Execute, manage, and monitor the delivery of cluster Rewards processes, solutions, and initiativesEnsuring that Group Reward schemes, policies and processes are executed in country and that all practices linked with policies are aligned with requirementsManaging governance controls in-country in terms of the management, execution, and compliance with Reward policies, processes, and practices.Payroll ManagementOversee the professional management and delivery of all payroll processes.Conducting monthly random checks of documentation that confirms systems data against overtime, sales incentives, terminations, engagements, and promotions.Working with the Payroll Specialist to advise and keep management up to date, in terms of the impact of legislative requirements on payroll matters
Skills, Experience & EducationQualificationBachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business Management or Statistics, with post graduate HR qualification, or equivalent.Experience8 – 12 years relevant and hands on experience in a Human Resources corporate or consulting environment with at least 6 years focused on working as a Remuneration, Compensation or Benefits specialist.
