Registration Open For Mombasa County Cruise-ship Sensitization Program

The Mombasa County Cruise Ship Program is an initiative funded by NGAAF in partnership with Kenya Maritime Authority (KMA), Bandari Maritime Academy/Womesa and other partners in the blue economy Industry.

The initiative seeks to sensitize our youth on the various opportunities available on the cruise ship industry. The program will sponsor selected candidates for the Standard Training Certification and Watch keeping (STCW) mandatory course.

As your Member of Parliament, I have set aside Kshs. 1.5 Million for training purposes for those who qualify.

Requirements.

  1. MUST be a registered voter, residing in Mombasa County.
  2. MUST be very committed to the program.
  3. Age 22-40 years.
  4. Certification in any Hospitality/Technical course
  5. At least 2 years experience of working in the hospitality and technical field.
  6. Valid East Africa passport.
  7. Original Academic Certificates.
  8. Updated CV with a colored photo on the front page.
  9. Recommendation letter from employer.
  10. Valid Police Clearance Certificate.
  11. Valid Covid Certificate.
  12. Yellow fever Certificate.
  13. Must be proficient in English. Knowledge of any foreign language will be an added advantage.

Note: The venue will be at Tononoka Social Hall, Registration begins 8:00am on 3rd June , 2023.
