The Role


This is a full-time role within Fusion Investment Management, a Fund Manager regulated by CMA
in Kenya and part of Fusion Group.


Main role Objectives


1. Oversee and refine employee standards and procedures, using existing HR systems as well as improved or recommended processes.
2. Recruit and prepare employees for their assignments by establishing and conducting orientation and training programs.
3. Ensure compliance with national and local HR regulations by conducting investigations and maintaining records.
4. Identify and recommend improvements to internal standard operating procedures, including team restructuring and morale building.
5. Develop and implement a performance management system
6. Maintain and enhance employee benefits programs, including compensation, health insurance, expense reimbursement and vacation.
7. Ensure timely, accurate and effective reporting on Compliance matters relating to CMA, RBA, KRA, AML/CFT and all other regulatory Authorities.
8. Implement & monitor the effectiveness of the Risk, compliance and AML policies and procedures in place as well as compliance with all relevant statutory obligations.
9. Be the Group Legal liaison on all company legal matters.


Required skills and qualifications


▪ A Bachelor of Laws degree from a recognized institution
▪ At least 3 years of experience in a similar role with clear understanding of the relevant Laws and regulations.
▪ Advance knowledge of HR management, general knowledge of employment conditions, culture and labour law.
▪ Have a good understanding of various laws and regulations including: The Companies Act, Labour Laws, CMA, RBA, IRA among others.
▪ Thorough understanding of employee recruitment and HR policies and procedures
▪ Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with an ethical mind-set
▪ Familiarity with any HR software
▪ Good analytical and decision-making skills.
▪ Ability to cope with high levels of responsibility and with confidential matters.
▪ Membership to the Law Society
