748 Air Services (K) Ltd Hiring Marketing Manager

Key Accountabilities

  • Develop and implement marketing strategies for the company in collaboration with the commercial director, towards achieving the company’s objectives.
  • Responsible for the compilation and completion of tenders in both Nairobi and Juba offices.
  • Preparation of reports i.e. departmental monthly reports, aircraft revenue reports etc. and also taking the minutes during the departmental meeting to be shared with the board.
  • Maintain client’s files, their database (include the online platform) and also their respective contractual agreements are up to date whilst ensuring confidentiality of the sensitive information.
  • Responsible for responding to client queries, identifying unmet needs and presenting compelling solutions towards ensuring client satisfaction in the services rendered.
  • Ensure proper documentation of the complaints raised by the clients is recorded and the complaints are dealt with in a timely manner in consultation with the Commercial Director.
  • Monitoring the performances (aircraft utilization) and proper management of the company aircraft calendar in collaboration with the Operation Control Team.
  • Conduct market research to determine the competition as well as new trends towards developing superior products and services and employ efficient marketing technique.
  • Ensure the company documentation on the client’s site is current and updated as required
  • Assist the Commercial director in identifying and assessing business opportunities in the Aviation Industry that will lead to successful commercialization efforts.
  • Responsible for Managing debtors, proper documentation of contractual and financial reports and tracking bid bonds & performance securities.
  • Responsible for developing and conducting client surveys and sharing of the report with clients.
  • Support the Commercial Director in day to day activities and other duties assigned.

Skills And Qualifications:

  • Proven track record in developing and implementing marketing strategies.
  • Possess strong influencing skills and ability to gain buy-in from clients.
  • Must have excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communications,
  • Must be creative, detail oriented and possess organizational skills.
  • Available to travel as required.
  • Be self-motivated with a high level of initiative
  • Be able to work under minimum supervision and very effective in decision making
  • Be of high integrity, a keen observer of deadlines, a team leader and a team player.

Education And Experience

  • Holder of a Masters or a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field is strongly preferred.
  • Have a solid understanding of finance (Candidates with an accounting background will be an added advantage).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in business development and marketing.
  • Experience in Aviation and/or Humanitarian and Natural Resource sectors.
  • Experience working with multinationals or multinational corporations
  • Can communicate in French.
