As a Reception Agent, you hold the key to creating unforgettable experiences for our guests, starting from the moment they arrive until their departure.

What you’ll be doing:

Reporting to the Front Office Manager, your responsibilities and essential job functions will include:

  • Efficiently handling guest arrivals, registrations, check-ins, check-outs, and room changes following established procedures.
  • Ensuring accurate data entry into the hotel system for all guest-related information.
  • Managing the cashier float and maintaining precise daily reports of all transactions.
  • Assisting guests with currency exchange and utilizing the safety box service as required.
  • Staying informed about accounting policies and procedures to comply with the latest modifications.
  • Being knowledgeable about special promotions and loyalty programs to enhance guest experience.
  • Addressing guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Promoting other Raffles properties to guests indicating their next destination.
  • Ensuring guests leave the hotel with a positive impression of our service.
  • Performing audit balances and preparing all necessary reports in an organized manner.
  • Maintaining a high standard of appearance, behavior, and attitude at the front desk.
  • Keeping the front desk area clean and orderly at all times.
  • Adhering to OH&S policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications we’re looking for:

  • Proven experience in Front Office operations with the ability to thrive in a multicultural and diverse environment.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience.
  • A natural flair for providing exceptional customer service and effectively handling guest complaints.
  • Ability to lead and train a dynamic team effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
  • Familiarity with Micros or similar POS systems, Opera or similar PMS systems, and Microsoft Software.
