Machakos County Government Recruiting 544 Enumerators And 56 Supervisors

The National Agricultural Value Chain Development Project (NAVCDP) represents a five-year initiative funded by the World Bank. This program aims to enhance the engagement in markets and augment the value addition for targeted farmers within specific value chains across 40 wards within Machakos county.

NAVCDP is designed to leverage the achievements of the Kenya Climate Smart Agriculture Project (KCSAP) while focusing on collaborating with a subset of farmers who were previously part of KCSAP. These farmers operated in six wards spanning Machakos, Mwala, and Yatta sub-counties, where micro projects were implemented.

One of the central goals of the NAVCDP is to establish a comprehensive and dynamic database containing pertinent beneficiary information. This database will be accessible to all stakeholders, ensuring effective sharing and updates.

To achieve this laudable objective, the Department of Agriculture, Food Security, and Cooperatives Development in Machakos County aims to enlist the services of 544 skilled enumerators.

These enumerators will be deployed across the 40 wards and engaged for a continuous period of 35 days.
