JOB SUMMARY:

Make payments to suppliers as and when they fall due and making proper and accurate tax deductions for further payment to KRA. Review of Processes, procedures and policies within payables and Finance with an aim of minimizing number of ensuring accruals are done, expenses are passed correctly and at the right time.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Payments – 70%

  • Make payments to all suppliers as and when they fall due.
  • Review costs to explore cost saving / reduction opportunities.
  • Proper accounting for various taxes i.e. withholding tax both foreign and local and withholding vat.
  • Ensure that both internal and external customer queries are attended to within time as  per SLA.
  • Prepare and share weekly, monthly, and ad hoc information.
  • Compile, manage, and analyze  payable information and data
  • Respond to any queries raised by the users in regards to the payables submitted.

Risk Management – 30%

  • Closure of audit and risk issues.
  • Ensure consistency in adherence to and application of established policies, processes, procedures and tools to achieve optimal efficiency.
  • Assist in Identifying losses in processes by suggesting and implementing improvements to the existing controls, procedures and systems to bolster fraud prevention.
  • Proper filing and archiving of documents.

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related course from a recognized university.
  • Professional qualification in CPA/ACCA is an added advantage.
  • Ability to prioritize  and manage time efficiently.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

JOB SUMMARY:

To work closely with both the sales and trading desk and understand Treasury functions both sales and trading plus understand the reports done by treasury department.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Working closely with dealers and accompany them in client visits and branch visits.
  • Calling clients on daily bases and find briefing them on the current market trends.
  • Assist in following up transaction done during the day.
  • Assist in creating reports and bring in new ideas.
  • Assist in sending markets reports to clients, staff of the banks, sending profit/ volume figures to branches.
  • Assist Trading desk on inputting data on excel sheet.
