Vacant Position: Social Worker
Founded in 2002, Jitegemee supports over 200 street and destitute children annually in Machakos, Kenya. We provide access to formal and vocational education for street children and teens through scholarships to primary and secondary schools.
The Social Worker will oversee the mobilization, training and follow up of project beneficiaries. S/he will follow up/track project beneficiaries attendance of sessions, both technical training and psychosocial support. Moreover, s/he will work with the economic empowerment manager to oversee mapping, assessment and enrolment of children and youth into programme interventions namely; mentorship, apprenticeship and vocational skills training. The Social Worker will be based in Mlolongo, Machakos County.
