The Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Ministerie van Buitenlandse Zaken) is committed to investing in skills development and youth employment for young people. In support of these efforts, the NL MoFA and the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO) | Partner in Sustainable Development are pleased to launch a new round of applications for the Enterprising Futures Scholarship 2024, in collaboration with our partner One Young World .
The Enterprising Futures Scholarship seeks to:
Empower young leaders to create sustainable job opportunities in selected regions (MENA, the Sahel, East Africa and the Horn of Africa);
Leverage the potential of young people for job creation, highlighting youth’s potential as a solution to fostering prosperous societies;
Raise awareness about young unemployment, and share best practices.
You are eligible if you are a young entrepreneur or changemaker (between 18 – 35 years old), from any of the following countries: Algeria, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Côte d’Ivoire, Egypt, Ethiopia, Iraq, Jordan, Kenya, Lebanon, Mali, Mozambique, Morocco, Niger, Nigeria, Palestinian Territories, Senegal, Somalia, Sudan, South Sudan, Tunisia, Uganda.
Selected scholars gain access to this year’s One Young World Summit, taking place between 18-21 September in Montreal (Canada). The Summit brings together over 2,000 young entrepreneurs, private sector parties and high-profile speakers.
