We’re looking for our new Sales Representative in Kenya who will be responsible for customer relationships and performance of an assigned customer portfolio for a medium impact client.
 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manages assigned customers; pursues and secures business in line with the business objectives.
  • Probes and identifies customer needs and provides solutions.
  • Builds a good understanding of target customers and the assigned account base.
  • Communicates significant trends, rate changes and policies to assigned accounts.
  • Researches and understands the territory to identify and establish business contacts with potential customers.
  • Researches and analyses competitive and industry trends.
  • Ensures customer relationship management tools are updated on time and are of excellent quality.
  • Is typically responsible for medium impact customers to the business in any size cluster.
     

We are looking for:

  • At least 3 years of experience in similar roles.
  • Experience in Inland Transportation, Maritime & Air.
  • Experience in logistics desirable.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, foreign trade or similar.
  • Proactive.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Negotiation skills.
  • Strategic thinking and influence.
