The Nandi County Youth Service is established to give effect to Article 55 of the constitution of Kenya.
The function of the service include; training the youth to serve the country and recruiting the trained youth to undertake tasks relating to the devolved functions of the county or otherwise in service of the county.
The department of sports, Youth affairs and Arts intends to recruit 9 youth per ward across the county for a period of one year. They will earn a daily wage of KES 450.00 and will be paid for the days they have worked. They will be expected to work for up to 8 hours in a day for a maximum of 2 weeks in a month.
Interested applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Must be aged between 18 and 32 years
- Must be a Kenyan citizen with a valid National ID
- Be a resident of Nandi County and from the wards they reside in.
- Must be physically fit
- Must be available throughout the entire period of the program
- Artisans/Tradesmen/Women have an added advantage
Application forms to be picked and submitted at the ward administrators office from Monday, 26th February 2024 to Tuesday, 12th March 2024.
