Benue Capital Hiring General Manager

BENUE CAPITAL INVESTMENT seeks to recruit a suitable candidate for the position of General Manager;

Reports to: Managing Director,

Department: General Management,

Purpose of the Role

The General Manager is responsible for providing strategic leadership in all facets of the organization, overseeing day to day running of the business, and ensuring strategic goals are at operational and budgetary levels are met.

Role Accountabilities

• Ensure that all staff and materials are present by the activities requirements

• Champion the strategic planning process.

• Implement sales strategies across the Company and accomplish said targets while driving the growth of the customer base.

• Thorough understanding of the competitive landscape, opportunities for expansion, customers, markets, new industry developments, and standards.

• Take on supervisory responsibilities as required and assist in all areas operationally.

• Appropriately delegate responsibilities to the team, nurturing and developing them whilst ensuring standards of operation

• Closely monitor costs to minimize wastage and guard against possible embezzlement.

• Take immediate necessary action to promote a culture of efficiency, honesty, and integrity and place the customer front and center of all company actions.

• High levels of customer awareness -Understand their needs and challenges and use this knowledge for product refinement and growth.

• Establish an appropriate leadership system that will attract, inspire, develop, and retain a highly skilled motivated, and disciplined staff to enhance the performance of the institution.

• Liquidity Management: Optimize company liquidity by managing expenses.

• Proactively recommends changes or improvements to the overall direction, policies, and strategy of the organization; solicits advice and seeks guidance, when appropriate, from the Managing Director

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Sales, Marketing, or related fields.

• At least 3 or more years of experience in managing a team, and managing multiple operational functions.

• Team leadership skills

• Experience in planning and budgeting

• Problem-solving aptitude.Conflict and complaint resolution,

• Outstanding organizational and leadership skills.

• Brilliant supervision, motivational, and task delegation abilities.

• Good communication (written and verbal), numeracy, presentation, and analytical skills.
