The Malaria Program is a collaboration between Kenya Medical Research Institute, the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine and other
partners whose remit is to conduct research in Malaria. The Program has been conducting cutting-edge
research and program evaluation in western Kenya to provide high quality data for evidence-based policies on malaria control. Due to its continued growth, the program has the following vacancy:
Position: Pharmaceutical Technologist KMR 8 (1 positions)
Reports to: Pharmacist In-charge
Location: Kisumu County
Job Summary
The Pharmaceutical Technologist will report to the Pharmacist in-charge and will be responsible for
ensuring that the pharmacy assignments are executed in the highest standards possible as per the AGREE
Trial study protocol, GCP and GPP guidelines. S/he must be flexible and work within the existing
structure, in a professional and ethical manner with competence, accountability and integrity.
