Description

1. Main purpose of the position:To build personal skills and experience in specific functions in preparation for growth and absorption into middle management roles within the BU. The successful candidates must be willing to pursue a career in Technical and Commercial/Sales Positions and Project Management.
2. Background and Scope:

This position works under close supervision. Being a Graduate Trainee role, discretion is exercised in seeking learning opportunities within host departments in the company, based on the trainees learning objectives.

Requirements

1. Key responsibilities:

1. Seek learning opportunities within the host department as per the management training log.
2. Demonstrate keen interest in learning by completing all assignments on time and as per the quality standards required by the assignment terms.
3. Complete the training rotation within the approved time-lines.
4. Manage proactive relations with the coach and mentor and constantly seeking feedback on trainee performance requirements.
5. Complete projects as per the trainee project terms of reference

1. Qualifications required:
   1. Minimum academic qualification: University Degree (First Class or Upper Second) in Civil and Structural Engineering
   2. At least B+ and Above in KCSE
   3. Overall A student caliber of person
2. Experience required:
   1. General work experience (years): 3-12 Months
   2. Specific to the position (level/discipline/years): N/A
   3. Industry: Manufacturing/Engineering
