Open Positions:

Leadership Roles:

  • School Head: Steer our institution towards excellence as the School Head, where your visionary leadership and strategic planning will shape the future of education at Oshwal Academy.
  • Deputy Head: Support the School Head with your innovative approaches to education management, playing a crucial role in the operational and academic success of our academy.

Teaching Positions:

  • Subject Teachers for: Early Childhood Development, Arts and Design, Drama, Business Studies, Biology/Human Biology, Chemistry, Accounts/Economics, Educational Psychology, English Literature, French, Food & Nutrition, German, Geography, History, Hospitality, ICT/Computer Science, Kiswahili, Music, Mathematics, Psychology, Physics, Spanish, Sports/PE, and Special Needs Education.

Non-Teaching Positions:

  • Procurement Assistant: Become the backbone of our operations by managing procurement processes efficiently.
  • Personal Assistant: Offer executive support, ensuring smooth administrative operations.
  • Theatre and Sound Technician & ICT Support Technician: Utilize your technical skills to enhance our educational and extracurricular activities.
  • Life Guard & Librarian: Contribute to the safety and intellectual growth of our students in these essential roles.

Job Descriptions:

School Head/Deputy Head: Responsible for setting strategic goals, overseeing daily operations, curriculum development, staff management, and fostering a positive environment for learning and growth.

Early Childhood Development: Specialize in nurturing young minds with foundational skills, focusing on holistic development through play-based learning.

Arts and Design/Drama: Inspire creativity and expression in students, guiding them in exploring their artistic talents and understanding of the dramatic arts.

Subject Teachers (Various Disciplines): Dedicated professionals who will deliver high-quality education in their respective fields, engaging students with innovative teaching methods that cater to diverse learning needs.

Procurement Assistant: Manage procurement activities, ensuring the timely acquisition of goods and services essential for the smooth running of the academy.

Personal Assistant: Provide comprehensive support to senior staff, managing schedules, communications, and administrative tasks with discretion and efficiency.

Technical Roles (Theatre/Sound/ICT Support): Ensure the optimal functioning of our technical infrastructure, supporting both academic and extracurricular activities with your expertise.

Librarian: Manage library resources, fostering a love for reading and research among students, and supporting the curriculum through resource management.

Life Guard: Ensure the safety of students during swimming activities, promoting water safety and swimming skills.

Qualifications:

For teaching positions, candidates must:

  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Education (B.Ed.) or in a specialized subject area.
  • Have at least 4 years of teaching experience in the subject area.
  • Be registered with the Teachers Service Commission (TSC).
  • Preference will be given to candidates with experience in the British National Curriculum.
