Department of Health Services

Our Department of Health Services is fundamental in providing quality care and promoting the health and wellbeing of our community. The roles available include:

  • Cook II and Cook I: These roles involve preparing and cooking meals for patients and staff in our health facilities. Candidates will be responsible for managing kitchen staff, ensuring the cleanliness and safety of the kitchen area, planning menus, and maintaining records of food supplies and consumption. The Cook I position requires an additional layer of responsibility, including more significant input into menu design and kitchen management.
  • Mortuary Attendant/Mortician: This role is crucial in the respectful and professional handling of deceased individuals. Responsibilities include embalming, preparing bodies for funerals, maintaining mortuary facilities, and liaising with grieving families to ensure that all processes are conducted with sensitivity and adherence to health regulations.

Department of Finance, Economic Planning, and ICT

Our financial department seeks to maintain fiscal discipline and transparency, ensuring the efficient allocation and utilization of resources. The available positions include:

  • Accountant I and II: These positions are central to managing financial records, budgeting, auditing, and reporting. Accountants ensure compliance with financial policies and are involved in preparing financial statements that reflect the county’s fiscal health.

  • Forest Guards: Guards are tasked with the protection of forests, wildlife, and natural resources. They patrol forest areas, prevent illegal activities, and help in the maintenance of ecological balance.

Department of Trade, Tourism, Culture, and Cooperative Development

Focused on boosting the county’s economic and cultural landscapes, this department offers roles that support trade, preserve cultural heritage, and oversee cooperative societies:

  • Trade Officer II, Culture Officer II, and Cooperative Auditor II: These positions support the development and regulation of trade, cultural programs, and cooperative societies respectively. Office of the County Secretary/Head of County Public Service
