The Kenya Tsetse and Trypanosomiasis Eradication Council (KENTTEC) is excited to announce various job opportunities within our dynamic team.

As a State Corporation under the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Development, we are at the forefront of efforts to eradicate tsetse flies and trypanosomiasis, contributing significantly to agricultural health and sustainability in Kenya.

We are looking for talented individuals to fill the following positions:

Positions

Office Assistant – This role involves supporting our various departments through general office management and administrative tasks to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Accountant – Responsibilities include managing financial records, overseeing budgeting and financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

Administration Assistant – The role requires providing robust administrative support, helping to manage daily office needs and maintaining orderly operations.

Customer Care Assistant – This position demands high interaction with our clients to address inquiries and concerns, ensuring a high level of customer service and support.

ICT Officer – The officer will manage and support our information and communication technology systems, playing a critical role in maintaining and enhancing our IT infrastructure.

Veterinary Officer – This crucial role involves overseeing the health and treatment of animals affected by tsetse and trypanosomiasis, conducting research, and implementing control measures.

Planning Officer – Responsible for developing strategic plans and initiatives that align with our mission and goals for eradicating tsetse and trypanosomiasis.

Veterinary Entomologist – Specializes in studying insect pests that affect animal health, particularly tsetse flies, and developing strategies for their control and eradication.

Supply Chain Management Officer – Oversees procurement processes, inventory management, and logistics to ensure efficient operation and resource use within the council.

Human Resource Management Officer – Manages employee relations, recruitment, and HR policies to foster a productive and compliant workplace.

Knowledge Management Officer – Focuses on managing organizational knowledge to support strategy, enhance efficiency, and foster innovation within KENTTEC.

Corporate Communication Officer – Handles internal and external communications, enhancing the organization’s public image and engagement with stakeholders.

Land Management Officer – Manages and oversees the use of land resources for projects and operations related to the council’s mandate.

Assistant Veterinary Entomologist – Assists in research and fieldwork focusing on the study and management of vector populations critical to the mission of KENTTEC.
