Key Responsibilities
1. Client Engagement and Advisory
- Provide suitable financial advice that aligns with clients’ needs and objectives.
- Meet with clients to understand their financial goals and prepare tailored proposals.
- Explain complex financial information in a clear and straightforward manner.
2. Sales and Business Development
- Consistently achieve sales production targets as per performance scorecards.
- Build and maintain a sustainable book of corporate and retail clients.
- Grow the client base within the first 24 months and continue expanding it thereafter.
- Leverage networking and prospecting skills to identify new opportunities.
3. Relationship Management
- Build, manage, and maintain strong client relationships to ensure long-term engagement.
- Provide exceptional after-sales service to clients, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty.
4. Compliance and Standards
- Adhere to all compliance, operational procedures, and practice management standards.
- Stay informed on product performance, industry changes, and regulatory updates.
5. Use of Financial Planning Tools
- Utilize advanced financial planning tools to prepare and present proposals.
- Use CRM systems and financial planning software to manage client portfolios efficiently.
Qualifications and Experience
Formal Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in a relevant field.
- Completion of CISI Module I and II.
- Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Planning or CFP certification is advantageous.
Experience and Knowledge
- At least 5 years of experience in the financial services industry, with a strong background in sales within asset/wealth management and investment management.
- Proven track record in high-performance sales environments.
- In-depth knowledge of financial planning, advisory services, and consultative sales methodologies.
- Familiarity with market dynamics in the assigned region.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in MS Office, CRM systems, and financial planning software.
- Analytical and numerical skills with the ability to interpret statistical information.
