We are a dynamic team of 45 full-time staff working in our offices in Kabul, Nairobi, and remotely, with plans to centralize core functions like finance and human resources in The Hague, Netherlands.

We are hiring a Global HR Manager to join our People & Culture Unit. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to contribute to shaping HR processes and strategies while making a global impact.


Position: Global HR Manager

  • Location: The Hague, Netherlands, with flexibility for remote work
  • Type: Full-Time (1 FTE) or Part-Time (0.8 FTE)
  • Salary: €5,500 gross per month, based on a 40-hour workweek (exact amount depends on experience)
  • Contract: Dutch employment contract for 12 months with a trial period
  • Start Date: As soon as possible
  • Vacancy Closure: January 31, 2025

Key Responsibilities

1. Systems and Tools Development

  • Design and manage systems for function grids, pay scales, and compliance tracking to support global HR operations.

2. Policy and Compliance

  • Develop and maintain HR policies to align with global best practices and local labor laws across countries of operation.

3. HR Data and Reporting

  • Oversee global HR data collection, ensure data accuracy, and deliver timely reports to support strategic decision-making.

4. Collaboration and Support

  • Work closely with regional HR staff to streamline processes and tools for consistency and efficiency.

5. Capacity Building

  • Provide training and guidance to implement new HR systems and tools across the organization.
