The position is responsible for execution of cost-efficient operational performance of the claims department, and service delivery with consistency in the application of the Company’s claims policies and practices.

KEY PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure vigilance in identifying fraudulent claims by reviewing damage consistency and client interaction. 
  • Book vehicles and coordinate their safe towing to the salvage yard. 
  • Ensure the security and proper handling of vehicle contents, parts, tools, and equipment
  • Maintain accurate booking records for all vehicles remaining at the assessment center.
  • Ensure safe custody of all vehicle contents and parts. 
  • Ensure that clients sign all booking inventories before leaving.
  • Collaborate with the daylight guard to control unauthorized entry to the centre.
  • Be on the lookout for vandalism while the vehicle is at assessment centre. 
  • Ensure client data is protected at all times according to the statutory laws
  • Ensure safe offloading and loading of vehicles at the assessment centre. 
  • Advice towing agents on safety measures to employ while moving vehicles, loading and offloading to minimize extra damages at the assessment centre. 
  • Organize the parking and movement of towing trucks
  • Assist external assessor by partially stripping vehicles to minimize supplementary
  • Assist in guiding clients on the assessment centre processes
  • Ensure monthly collection and documentation of scrap metal
  • Participating and contributing to meetings, discussions, and consultations with other team members to ensure that all hindrances to job performance are addressed in good time.

  • Craft in Automotive Engineering
